On Saturday the Bengals got their first road win since 2021 and their first back-to-back wins since 2018 to put themselves at 3-1 in conference and ranked at #4 in the Big Sky. Before the start of the season, safety Calvin Pitcher was selected as one of the Bengal's team captains along with Mike Davis and Cortland Horton. Following a close lose to Montana, Pitcher said ISU can compete with any team in the conference. The Bengals proved Pitcher right on Saturday by pulling off the Minidome Miracle comeback win against Eastern Washington. The Idaho State Bengals capped off homecoming week with an impressive victory against Northern Colorado. The Bengals take their 1-0 undefeated Big Sky Conference record into Missoula on Saturday to take on the Montana Grizzlies. The Bengals haven't had much success against the Griz this century, but Maclane and Gage explain why things could be closer than usual between the two teams.
