What better way to celebrate the holiday than to have (now former) Idaho State offensive lineman Mike Davis back on the show? We last talked to Mike just as fall camp was kicking off in August. Now we discuss the 2023 season, Mike's career, and of course what position Santa Claus would play on the football field. https://archive.org/download/jungleland-amike-davis-christmas/JunglelandAMikeDavisChristmas.mp3

It's the most wonderful game of the year- Idaho and Idaho State battle it out for Potato State Supremacy! Gage, Maclane, and Brendon discuss this year's installment of the only rivalry in the state of Idaho, as well as the debate over which team's dome is superior. But first, they cover the Hawkins Bowl result, the start of ISU Basketball, and the end of the regular season for Bengal Volleyball. https://archive.org/download/jungleland-idahovs-idaho-state/JunglelandIdahovsIdahoState.mp3

Gage, Maclane, and Franklin preview the Bengals' final home game of the year against UC Davis, which features a father-son head coaching matchup. On Saturday the Bengals got their first road win since 2021 and their first back-to-back wins since 2018 to put themselves at 3-1 in conference and ranked at #4 in the Big Sky. But to go from a rebuilding team to a contender this year, they'll need to do more to prove themselves. A Saturday night showdown is the perfect opportunity for the Bengals to prove themselves, but beating the Hornets is not going to be an easy task. Maclane, Gage, Brendon, and Franklin break down the win against Portland State and preview Sacramento State. https://archive.org/download/jungleland-another-win_202310/JunglelandAnotherWin.mp3

Before the start of the season, safety Calvin Pitcher was selected as one of the Bengal's team captains along with Mike Davis and Cortland Horton. Following a close lose to Montana, Pitcher said ISU can compete with any team in the conference. The Bengals proved Pitcher right on Saturday by pulling off the Minidome Miracle comeback win against Eastern Washington. Maclane sits down with Calvin to talk about his experience at ISU, what it's like being a team leader, and what the team culture looks like for this year's Bengals. https://archive.org/download/jungleland-the-calvin-pitcher-interview/JunglelandTheCalvinPitcherInterview.mp3
